Dr Andrew Fox

Dr. Fox began his career in 1997 working on advanced wireless broadband products at Lucent technologies. His primary role was to define and develop ‘next generation technology’ for Lucent’s broadband wireless products.

Following the completion of this work in 1999, Dr. Fox began work as a research engineer at the prestigious Bell Research Laboratories where he headed up the RFIC team to develop a cutting edge radio frequency integrated circuit for use in wireless communication products.

In 2001, Dr. Fox left Bell Labs to join a new high tech startup called Picochip which was located in Bath UK. His primary role at Picochip was to develop a compact cellular radio transceiver and advise on the system engineering for the software defined cellular base station product.

In 2002, Dr. Fox formed his own company called Deltenna to develop wireless broadband products.

Dr. Fox organically grew Deltenna to over 20 very high performing employees ( HW and SW engineers) and by 2017,  Deltenna had launched 7 cellular broadband products on to the market.

In 2017, Deltenna was acquired by one of its customers; Cubic Corporation and Dr. Fox was retained as a CTO.

Dr. Fox left Cubic in 2022
