New channel partner

Two questions. One partnership.

Stone Management Partners helps CEOs, boards and investors judge whether their organisation is equipped to deliver its strategy. Tensense complements that work, for leaders at every level.

  1. Are we built to execute the strategy?

    Where Stone comes in

Leadership assessment, behavioural analysis, organisational diagnostics and executive advisory: the organisation you have, and how to build the one you want.

  2. What inside the organisation could help or hinder our success?

    Where Tensense comes in

A light-touch pulse of 16 fixed prompts, which people complete in around 90 seconds. Responses come in anonymously, and rapid reporting at the end of each cycle shows leaders what needs attention, and where.

“At Stone Management Partners, we’ve always believed that most business problems are not strategy problems. They’re execution problems.”
John Scheel · Managing Partner, Stone Management Partners
“I am delighted that Stone Management Partners have joined the Tensense Partner Programme. We’re passionate about helping leaders and organisations be the best they can be. Tensense surfaces the critical issues quickly, and it takes curious leaders and world-class advisers to turn that into better execution. We look forward to working closely with John, Garry and the team.”
Mike Roe · CEO, Tensense

From a CEO · Nigel Hunton

Bring the consultant in on day one.

“Often I use a consultant who will come in and typically I’ll bring them in day one, and those consultants who’ve got experience and understanding of Tensense can quickly use the tool to help me develop a strategy to help me understand what’s going on with the business and really identify the potential trip hazards for the future.”

Getting started

From first conversation to first cycle.

Talk to us about partnering

  1. 01

    Talk to us.

We walk you through the platform, the reports and debriefs your clients would receive, and how the partner programme works.

  2. 02

    Introduce Tensense.

To the leaders you already advise, or as part of a new client engagement, using the partner kit and approved wording.

  3. 03

    Set it up together.

Tensense is a managed service. We work with you and your client to set up the programme, then run each cycle, with regular updates as it progresses.

  4. 04

    Work your way.

We can debrief your client directly, with you in the room and fully in the loop, or work through you, with reports and results that enrich your own work. It’s your choice.

One paragraph

Tensense is the Organisational Intelligence Platform that decodes what is really happening in your organisation, to improve performance and reduce risk. A light-touch pulse of 16 fixed prompts, completed in about 90 seconds, asks people anonymously what they experience locally. Rapid reporting at the end of each cycle shows leaders at every level where to engage, and on what.

Questions

What partners ask us.

Do I need to be a data specialist?

No. We support you, and your client if you choose, with virtual debriefs that double as training, as standard and at no extra cost. After a few sessions, most partners can run with it themselves, and we’re always on hand to explain anything that isn’t clear.

How often can my clients run it?

As often as they need. Some clients run a cycle every month; others run one less often, or when a change calls for it.

Is it anonymous?

Yes, to your client. Tensense collects individual responses but only ever shares aggregated data, so anonymity is enforced by Tensense. How anonymity works

Does it work with small teams?

Yes. It’s the number of responses that counts, not headcount. You, your client and Tensense agree the minimum a team needs for a report of its own, to protect anonymity; three is the most common choice. Results from teams that small need interpreting with care, though: sentiment is captured in the moment, so one person’s bad day can send a team from the top of its peers to the bottom, and back. Slightly larger teams are steadier, because the other responses tend to absorb a single difficult moment.

Does it replace an engagement survey?

No. Some clients use Tensense on its own; others run it alongside a six-monthly or annual engagement survey. They compare the two to see where the results support each other, and run Tensense cycles in between to check whether their actions are working.

What are the commercial terms?
