Kelly+Partners Wexford: a sharper focus on accountability.
An accountancy firm acquired under Kelly+Partners’ partner-owner-driver model. Its partners were cautious at first. Tensense showed them where to focus, and whether their actions were working.
The situation
Curiosity, with healthy caution.
Under that model, the local partners keep a stake in the firm and run it day to day. When they took on Tensense, they were pragmatic. Would it deliver what it promised, or add another layer of complexity to an already demanding environment?
The ask: around 90 seconds of each person’s time, and the partners’ time to act on what the results showed.
What the results showed
Support, without accountability or clarity.
Two topics stood out. In Complacency, people saw leaders as supportive, but less evidence of people being held to account. Clarity was weak too: a sign that people were not communicating effectively with each other. That gave the partners two priorities: accountability and communication.
What Tensense gives them
From a snapshot to a trend.
The firm has run Tensense since January 2026, to its own rhythm. The first cycle gave them a baseline. Since then, Complacency has fallen substantially and Clarity has improved: a sign that the partners’ work on both is paying off.
In their words

From the partner
“Tensense has been a valuable exercise for Kelly Partners Wexford. It has helped us focus on key management issues, particularly accountability, and the progress we have seen in this area has been one of the key successes of our partnership with Tensense.”
