As we consider the future of work it is likely that two critical challenges will face leaders:-
1. How to “complete the picture”? What is really going on in their business and what are the most critical decisions that need to be taken? How to make sense of the organisation where there is probably an abundance of data and information, that can at times be overwhelming? It is crucial that leaders can quickly make sense of the myriad of data and have access to a combination of qualitative and quantitative data.
2. How to replicate the “water cooler” moments? How do we get valuable insights from disparate parts of the business and hear from the ‘edge’ and ‘deep’ within the organisation, whilst working remotely?
The answer lies in a combination of technology and curiosity. A technology that operates like a business nervous system and leaders willing to ask great questions!
